We are a public library and a member of the Nicolet Federated Library System/OWLSnet consortium, serving the Menominee community. We are funded for the most part by the Menominee Indian Tribe and partially by Menominee County.
Being part of this system means you have access to over a million titles throughout libraries located in northeast Wisconsin (click here to view map). Once you have a card with us, you can place a hold on any title throughout the system and if we don't have it, it will be here within days.
To get a card, simply come by the library with a photo ID and proof of current address ( i.e. a recently postmarked bill). It only takes a few minutes. Once done, you can start exploring tons of material in various media formats (books, audio books, VHS cassettes, DVDs, CDs, and more).
Our current building was erected in 1991. Before that a tribal and/or county library was housed wherever there might have been office space available. Our current home suits our community well. We have over 9,000 titles on our shelves, as well as public computers available.
