The
Teen Summer Projects, both 2003 and 2004, were made possible by grants from the
Oneida
Nation Arts Program

and the Wisconsin Arts Board.
In
June 2004, we started the Youth Mural Project. It was completed on September 30,
2004, and we celebrated with a Community Art Gala on October 22, 2004.
There
are now murals both inside and outside of the library.

Can you tell we love anime/manga?
Back in June of 2003, we made a graphic fiction short story collection with Native American anime characters. The grant enabled us to take the art from the graphic novel and animate it into a short film project. Here are a few of our characters:
