JobPod Lite: Gillett Public Library launches workforce development supports for job seekers9/19/2025
The Gillett Public Library is pleased to announce the launch of JobPod Lite. JobPod Lite facilitates easy and reliable access to online and virtual job search resources for employment seekers by merging community library spaces with the expertise of workforce development professionals. JobPod Lite establishes the public library as a dependable bridge between the job seeker, job search experts, and employers, allowing job seekers to easily access job search tools, connect with workforce development experts, participate in online employment training, and more.
Tracy Vreeke, Nicolet Federated Library System Director, shares, “One of the most remarkable aspects of JobPod is its ability to take advantage of what public libraries are already doing. Libraries are vibrant community hubs that offer a wealth of resources, from technology access, educational programming, job search assistance, and helping our community find the services and resources they need. That’s what public libraries do – help citizens and communities improve themselves."
