A few announcements from UW-Madison iSchool CE:
Certification course scholarship applications are now open, and applications for fall courses are due by Friday, August 2. If you are a library director who is going to be taking director certification courses, please look at this. iSchool especially strongly considers directors who are paying some or all of the registration costs out of their personal pocket, or who are working in libraries for which the cost of these courses is a substantial budgetary burden. iSchool will be awarding three scholarships for the fall courses. Application information is at https://ischool.wisc.edu/continuing-education/certification-scholarship/. There are three certification courses coming up this fall. Registration will open in July:
The call for proposals is now open for Lead the Way: Libraries at the Heart of Community Engagement. This conference will take place at the Pyle Center in Madison, WI from April 20-21, 2020. All selected proposals will receive one complimentary conference registration, which may be divided however the presenters of that session choose. Summer classes are open for registration. There is a 10% early bird registration discount: https://ischool.wisc.edu/continuing-education/ Please feel free to drop Meredith Lowe or Anna Palmer a line if you have any questions or comments.
