![]() The Wisconsin Association of Academic Librarians (WAAL) is accepting applications for scholarships to the WAAL 2020 Annual Conference at the Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield Hotel in Brookfield, Wisconsin, April 16-17. Scholarships are awarded in the following categories: Library paraprofessionals The WAAL conference is an easy way to expand your professional network and learn new ideas to bring back to your home institution. Scholarships are available to current WLA members or individuals who will join WLA before the start of the WAAL 2020 conference. Library/Information Science graduate students
The WAAL conference can expose you to unfamiliar areas of librarianship and help you start building that all-important professional network. It also looks great on a resume! Scholarships available to current WLA members or individuals who will join WLA before the start of the WAAL 2020 conference. Undergraduate students If you are an undergraduate considering a career in library science, attending the WAAL conference will provide you with a deeper understanding of the profession and connect you with the two MLIS granting programs in Wisconsin. Undergraduates do NOT need to be a current WLA member to be awarded the scholarship. Please share this opportunity with your undergraduate student workers. Scholarships cover the registration fee for the conference and up to $250 of documented expenses.
