Brown County Library
Gardens seem to be popping up all over the place these days, from front yards to schools to libraries. With the goals of advocating healthy eating, fighting hunger and promoting outdoor learning experiences, gardening and libraries are perfect partners. The Central Branch of the Brown County Library in Green Bay, WI worked with community partners to take an underused portion of their library property and turn it into a vibrant, colorful and educational place of learning literally outside their front door. Discover how this happened and what the garden looks like now. 1 CE Credit
