2023 Library Improvement and Innovation Grant
NFLS has set aside $20,000 for Library Improvement and Innovation Grants. Grant funds are to be used in the areas of Workforce & Economic Development, Information Technology, and/or Reading Proficiency & Lifelong Learning. See grant guidelines for further detail on the purpose the grant can be used for.
Collaboration with other libraries and/or community partners is encouraged, but not necessary. This grant is a one-time only grant. Sustainability for any projects started with grant funding should be considered and accounted for in the recipient library’s budget. Upon completion of the grant project, recipients will be required to give a brief report to the NFLS Advisory Committee of Librarians and work with NFLS on a short publicity presentation. Timeline: The Grant Committee will review applications in July and the Board of Trustees will give final approval at the August 10, 2023 Board meeting. Award recipients will receive notice of an award within 7 days. |
