2025-2026 Small Library Strategic Planning Cohort

Looking for an efficient, cost-effective, and manageable way to make a strategic plan for your small library and community? WiLS has space for up to 10 libraries in the 2025-2026 Small Library Strategic Planning Cohort!
This cohort is available to libraries that serve a community population of about 5,000 or fewer, have a strong interest in completing a community-driven and data-informed strategic plan, and have a director who can serve as the library’s planning point person for the duration of the cohort. NFLS is pleased to offer member libraries two partial grants ($1000) for the 2025-2026 Strategic Planning Cohort for Small Libraries. The planning cohort will take place from October 2025 to July 2026. Please fill out the NFLS application by Monday, June 30, 2025. If you are interested in joining the Cohort, submit the WiLS' registration form by September 30th. Cohort registration is first come, first serve and will close on September 30th or when ten libraries have committed, which ever comes first.
