2024 Library Services Grants​
NFLS provides Library Services Grants (formerly Collection Development Grants) to libraries in member counties as partial compensation for their willingness to provide reciprocal library services to other residents of the System on the same basis as they are available to residents of the library's home municipality.
Please note the scope of the grant was broadened to include the following:
audiobooks (ex: Playaways), eBooks, compact discs, computer software, microform materials such as local, state or national newspapers or backfiles of periodicals, etc.; b. Library materials or supplies to support large-scale library events and/or programming; c. Library materials or supplies to support archival efforts or complete archival projects; d. Materials, supplies, software, or hardware which will be used to implement projects that address priorities identified in the library’s strategic plan; and e. Other library-related materials or services as approved by the NFLS director. To receive a grant, the library must:
The Grant Applications will be reviewed and approved by the NFLS Grant Committee and Board in April 2024. Libraries will be notified of their awards at that time. |
