The Algoma Library Friends recently put up a Little Free Library!
The Algoma Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting on June 7th and it is dedicated in memory of Pat Cichon, who was one of the original Library Friends and a driving force behind the Algoma Book Corner and this Little Free Library. Learn more about the Algoma Book Corner and the ribbon cutting on its Facebook Mentions page.
The Algoma Library Friends is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of the Algoma Public Library by funding materials, services, and programs not covered by the regular library budget. Volunteers in the group also man the Algoma Book Corner located at 401 3rd Street, which sells gently used books and more.
