PLA’s Project Outcome is a free online toolkit designed to help public libraries understand and share the impact of their programs and services by providing simple surveys and an easy-to-use process for measuring and analyzing outcomes. Learn more at www.projectoutcome.org. The new catalogs have arrived and will be arriving at libraries next week. They are also available online at https://www.cslpreads.org/shop/ using a CSLP login. In addition, each library has access to the 2020 "Imagine Your Story" online manual. Directions for accessing the manual are included with the catalogs arriving next week.

![]() The Florence County Library was able to purchase five new tables and chairs thanks to a grant from the Nicolet Federated Library System’s 2019 Library Improvement & Innovation Grant, which funds programs in the areas of workforce development, lifelong learning, and/or technology. The tables and chairs are in the main area of the library and look great! The library's work force development person, Zana, is even in one of the photos (left). Public patrons, students and a wide range of other folks also utilize them. They are on locking wheels so we are able to easily move them for different presentations and author talks. As communities across the country experience the impact of the opioid epidemic, public library staff are finding themselves on the front line of this public health crisis. How should libraries engage? Public Libraries Respond to the Opioid Epidemic with Their Community is an IMLS-funded project led by OCLC and PLA to expand libraries’ capacity to support their communities. The project studied a diverse set of communities where the library is an active partner in addressing the epidemic and facilitated discussions with library leaders and a range of government, public health, and community organizations. Presenters will share insights gained from the case studies and emerging practices, opportunities, and challenges, and share resources to help library staff guide their libraries’ response to the opioid crisis.

WebAIM (Web Accessibility In Mind) is a non-profit organization based at the Center for Persons with Disabilities at Utah State University. Its mission is to empower organizations to make their web content accessible to people with disabilities.
