Induction into the Wisconsin Library Hall of Fame is granted to individuals who have made an exceptional contribution to the statewide improvement of library service in Wisconsin. We would like to welcome Nancy Bell as the new library director of the Shawano County Library. After graduating with a Biological Sciences degree, Nancy fell in love with library service while working part-time as a page at her hometown library in Illinois. Since then, she has had many different positions in libraries: circulation clerk, circulation assistant, reference assistant, readers’ advisory librarian, and director. While Nancy loves reading (of course), she is a tabletop board game enthusiast, escape room artist, and road tripper. She also plans to visit all the national parks and has visited 12 (out of 63) so far. Welcome to the NFLS libraries team, Nancy!
