There are only a couple of weeks left to nominate an individual or group who has made a lasting impact on intellectual freedom in Wisconsin. Now is your chance to recognize their contributions!
The WLA/WEMTA Intellectual Freedom Award honors outstanding efforts to uphold the principles of intellectual freedom in schools, libraries, and communities across the state. Nominations may be submitted by personal members of the Wisconsin Educational Media & Technology Association (WEMTA) or the Wisconsin Library Association (WLA). Review the award criteria and access the nomination form here. While you will need to create an account and provide your email address to access the form, WLA membership is not required to submit a nomination. All nominations must be received by September 1, 2025. Let's celebrate those making a difference in protecting intellectual freedom across Wisconsin!
