Guest post and photo submitted by Shannon Stoner, Director at Gillett Public Library ![]() Gillett Public Library received a $600 grant from the Rural Technology Fund (RTF). The Fund provides technology education resources, scholarships, and assistive technology devices to rural students. Their mission also includes supporting Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) extracurricular programs. The RTF supports rural communities that may have fewer opportunities for exposure to technology and funds projects in public schools and libraries. Gillett Public Library Director Shannon Stoner said the library will utilize the funds to support the library’s “Full STEAM Ahead” program for Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. The program takes place at the Gillett Public Library on the fourth Tuesday of every month in the Gillett Library Community Center from 4 to 5 p.m. For more information, please visit gilpubliclibrary.org or call 920-855-6224.
