Unemployment Insurance Adding New Claimant Portal Features

Unemployment Insurance (UI) recently published "Coming Soon" messages to its customers regarding three projects:

• New Claimant Portal Features
• Secure messaging
• Document upload​​
  

​​Here are few things to keep in mind:

• Starting the evening of March 30, 2021 the claimant portal will look a little different. See the Coming Soon- New Portal Features site for a sneak peek, including a short video, of what this will look like.

• The My UI Home page will have a message center, where claimants can securely upload certain documents, and get messages from claims specialists and adjudicators. Plus, claimants will be able to opt-in to be alerted by text when there's a new message. My UI Home also shows the claim status with information and instructions about the claimant's claim.
• The My UI Summary page will give claimants easy access to payment information, claims status, issues and determinations, appeals, and more.
• There are also quick link icons for easy navigation, a menu button at the top of the page, and a new search feature to help claimants find specific topics.
